JORGE COLÓN

Jorge Colón brings over 25 years of experience in delivering highly responsive and fully integrated interior environments.  Working across academic, research, and commercial settings, he has cultivated expertise in new building development, adaptive reuse, and large-scale interior renovation projects.  Jorge’s past clients include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the LA Times, Arizona State University, Mayo Clinic, and the Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.  He is a licensed Architect, and a member of both the IIDA and the American Institute of Architects.

 

Professional organizations, awards programs, and industry publications have recognized Jorge for design excellence, education, and community engagement.  He is an active participant in initiatives that advance design awareness, mentorship, and environmental stewardship. He currently serves as Co-Director of the IIDA Los Angeles City Center, which promotes advocacy for professionals and support for emerging designers.

 

Jorge was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech, a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, and a Master in Design Studies from Harvard University.
