CHRISTINE PETER

Christine Peter's career in the design industry spans over twenty-six years. She began her journey at a Knoll dealer, where she gained valuable experience in every aspect of the built environment. Her roles have ranged from customer service to account executive, sales manager to sales director. She then transitioned to the manufacturer side, taking on positions such as market sales manager and director of regional marketing operations for Southern California. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, she eventually started her own firm, catering to the needs of end-users day-to-day project requirements. And to the end users capital projects and master planning.

Christine's dedication to the design profession is evident in her involvement with IIDA for over thirteen years. She has served in various roles at the city center level and the VP level.  She initiated the EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives. She also serves on IIDA Equity council to support the direction of the EDI efforts for IIDA HQ.

She understands the importance of design recognition in our industry. As she won a Caliber award for a project she worked on in 2009. 

​

Her passion for elevating the design profession is also reflected in her mentorship of new designers. More importantly is her efforts to find creative and new ways to bring relevant knowledge and content to the members of our industry.
